- Install Ubuntu 9.10
- Install OO
- Update all packages and kernel
- Install a printer nearby (find out how)
Change >
Install Ubuntu 10.04 LTS instead
Problem >
- Broken GNOME panel
- Booting error message:
error: no suitable node found
error: Unkown command 'Terminal'
Solution >
- Main panel of GNOME disappeared:
- To restart GNOME. Using commands:
Write a boot up script to enforce restarting GNOME panel every time of logging inkillall gnome-panel
sudo apt-get install
gnome-panel
> Result: Occasionally fail
- To install Kubuntu instead
